Hi, Hope this is the right place to post this but I am having a little issue coming up with a way to present a 'non physical' gift.

I bought a few theater tickets for people for xmas (not until the end of next year when hopefully covid will be over) but they dont release physical tickets you just use your email confirmation so there isnt a physical ticket to give and now I'm not sure how to give it really.

I did buy a DVD of the show to wrap but I cant think how to tie the tickets in and I'm also hampered by the fact I dont have a printer or anywhere to print out things due to lockdown.

If any one had this problem before I would love to know what you did or any ideas anyone has?

I got a nice card and said in the card what I had got them. I emailed the confirmation after they had opened it.

I usually mock up a theatre or experience ticket on word or similar, and print it to put inside a box or card!

If you're a bit artsy you can easily make a mock ticket for them and wrap that up, or as others have said write it in their card. Other things might be to make a video (much easier now than it once was), write it on a small piece of paper and put it into their crackers (most crackers you can insert paper at one end or the middle and then do it back up), or get a gift related to the show to bundle it with (writing it on a piece of paper in the gift or on the tag). If you like a good prank, you could also pretend you got them nothing and then surprise them afterwards with the email 😊

For a gig ticket gift I purchased an a5 card from eBay of the poster used to advertise the show with some personalised text added, along the lines of "name, you're going to see band at place, on 01/01/1901". You can normally find something on there.

Is there a soundtrack you could buy? When I bought my mum tickets to a musical I got the soundtrack on CD, let her think that was the only gift and told her to learn all the words for when she saw it live.

Use a ticket generator like this one to mock up some tickets and print them off.

She doesn't have a printer! I would just write a little note in with the DVD.
