I have no idea what to get for my DM. She is unwell so doesn't really get out anywhere so no point buying clothes/vouchers for afternoon tea etc. She lives in nighties etc but has loads. She reads lots but has a kindle, she has an alexa. She doesn't drink. I'm just so stuck this year. Any ideas?

Cashmere throw
Velvetiser
Upgrade on the kindle
Echo 10 inch with the screen
Monthly subscription to Leaf Envy / cheese / chocolate tasting society
Diptique candle
Neom well-being pod

A luxury throw, a deep plush fur heated throw, or weighted blanket
Neom pod diffuser or luxury candles
Nice bath products
Light bulb for lamp to use with alexa
A monthly flower delivery subscription
Wireless headphones to listen to audio books

Heated blanket/throw?
Jigsaw puzzle or crafting kit?
SAD lamp?
Magazine subscription?
Food hamper containing her favourite things?
House plant?

Ah I have similar ideas to Orange. I second the velvitizer, my mums had hers a couple of years now and it's so easy to use, and it's in constant use.

What is a velvetiser? Heated throw wouldn't be a bad idea actually I hadn't thought of that.

Have a google. There's only one. It makes hot chocolate

yearinyearout · 13/12/2020 14:01

Oh yes I've just had a look, she doesn't drink hot chocolate but enjoys a latte, I wonder if you could use it for those?

Not really , unless she enjoys a later like the Nescafé ones in a little sachet? If so, then yes it's fine for that
