We've had a few health scares and illness in our extended family this year so everyone has decided on a health theme for gifts this year! Anyone care to inspire me with health related gifts?!

Salt lamps are good for some health conditions especially breathing?

I have bought my friend some crystals as she has been suffering from anxiety and sleep issues, I know some people are not in to that sort of thing but luckily she is.

Bath salts are great for aches and pains?

Weighted blankets good for anxiety and also aches and pains?

A recipe book for healthy eating?

Fitness tracker, they measure heart rate and sleep patterns as well as steps etc so a nice way to keep an eye on changes in resting heart rate.
Silk pillowcases, good for skin and hair health and very much the in-present this year with my friends an family.
Any kind of health tech that might be a bit of a luxury to buy for yourself BP monitor or TENS machine maybe.
Some great expensive tech out for diabetes if that affects anyone in your family, I know I would be over the moon to find a MiaoMiao under the tree now that I have the Freestyle Libre on the NHS!

Lloyds Pharmacy have a variety of Beurer health related items on offer at moment. Their HK44 heating pad for example, could be useful for someone wanting some comforting heat on back pain...it's a much better price than Argos and others are currently doing.

Aromatherapy products/cosmetics or one of those light up diffuser pod things?
Yoga book/mat? Meditation CD/subscription?
Bamboo workout clothes?
Walking socks and local walks book/os map?
Healthy cookbooks?
Grow your own kit?
Gemstone (ones with health benefits) jewellery?

How did you manage to get Free style on NHS? My DH is T2 and he's been told that he can't have it. So, his main gift is a set of patches. Not sure what else to buy for his diabetes.

An exercise bike.
Tracksuit/sports wear.
Membership of a gym for however many months you can afford, or a gym gift voucher.
Private swimming lessons.

Everything above sounds good. For gut health, a yoghurt maker? Can recommend duronic. For SAD, lumie light or alarm clock that gradually increases light in room.
