Christmas morning "doing" gifts for tween boys

I had bought extension kits for my boys' Gravitrax and Boomtrix sets for Christmas but have just generously given them to my mum to gift them as she wanted a couple of extra presents.

My DS's are 10 and 11 years old.

I'm looking for alternatives that will keep them busy on Christmas morning before we head over to my parents. They already have a ton of Lego so would prefer not another set; they really enjoy the Cubic Fun sets but love doing them with my mum and dad and although they enjoy games and puzzles there's a part of them that would really like a "toy" or set they can play with on Christmas morning (grown up marble run types have always ticked this box perfectly). Help, any new ideas I might not have thought of? Not looking for something huge or a major investment in Mario Lego.

ThinkFun gravity maze, circuit maze or laser maze
Marble circuit puzzle
Knex
Teifoc
Marvin’s magic trick set
Airfix kit

Some brilliant suggestions thank you! One of them is actually getting some Teifoc already so great to hear you recommend it. I love the sound of those Think Fun mazes. I had only seen the gravity one before. Not cheap - but you can't put a price on a peaceful Christmas morning 😂😂

Was going say ‘gravity maze’ 😊

Rubix cube (rubix do several different ones)

I have bought dd a mini remote control car that goes up the wall, probably won’t get played with much after Christmas Day. She’s getting gravitrax from her dad so I suspect that not much else will get touched once she gets that 🤣. I have got her a 3D puzzle or a Porsche, rush hour game and a few craft kits but marble run type toys are her favourite.

Gravity maze is on offer in the entertainer (saw it today) and the laser maze.

If she's anything like my boys she will absolutely love the Gravitrax. It's a brilliant set.

Remote control cars.
Pogo sticks.
Football net and ball/kit.

Flow ring, juggling balls, nano blocks, puzzle book, bop it, silly putty, duelling harry potter wands, drone.

Wooden model things? We have one with bad instructions, spent about 2 hours on the first 3 steps, something like that could keep them occupied for a whole day. :-)

Do they like football? I’ve got my 12yo DS a 3D puzzle of the Etihad stadium
