Hi there,

What coloured paint can I use for my daughters feet for cards? She’s 4 months old.

Thanks so much πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Washable kids paint!
Most wont say they are suitable for that age, but if you are supervising, and wash her feet afterwards, it should be fine.

Seconded on the washable kids paint. You're going to need some in the next few years anyway so just stock up now Grin

I did manage to stain my baby green a couple of weeks ago doing this with kid's paint.. She came clean in a day or two Grin

Mix a little soap or washing up liquid in to the paint first. It makes it easier to get off.

Also, the (dry) bath is a great place to do messy crafting!

WH Smith used to do tubs of finger paint, it's a bit thinker than normal paint and you could sort of smear it onto their feet or hands with your fingers before squishing their foot/hand onto the paper. I remember they did some really nice pearlised colours too, blue and purple, the pink was too pale

By the way the purpose of the actual finger paint is you get more detail, like finger prints, which you don't get with poster paint or gouache type textures

Hobbycraft washable ink pads, perfect size for a babies foot less mess and you get a neater print. I got a beautiful light brown ink and turned my nieces footprints into Rudolph.

I used facepaint

I just used the crayola paints, painted feet/hands, did the prints and then wiped quickly with a baby wipe (to avoid mess more than anything).
