Can I feed an old Christmas pudding?

I made one last year and we didn't eat it - it seems okay but a little dried out.. Do you think I could just feed it with rum/brandy etc and it would be edible for Chirstmas this year?

Or should I get rid in case it poisons us all (at Christmas)?

Absolutely. Feed it and enjoy. Steaming it on the day will also moisten it. And have plenty of your preferred sauce (cream, custard etc) to hand for extra moistening.

A few years ago I found a cheapo shop bought pudding in my cupboard (Happy Shopper or something v basic) that was at least 5 years out of date if not more...so we had it and it was the best Xmas pudding ever ! Feed away and enjoy

It’ll be fine- bit of brandy and it’ll be perfectly good.

I always like a well aged pudding. They’re the best.
