Can anyone tell me how Tesco club card vouchers work?

I’ve got about £80 sitting. Can anyone tell me how to spend them? Not bothered about days out etc. Quite happy with a few bottles of wine for Christmas. Do they do any sort of double up etc?

They don’t do double ups or anything anymore I don’t think . They are usually much better value to use for days out / meals etc as you get x 3 value . You can use on shopping but would be normal value .

IamChipmunk · 12/11/2020 06:56

As the pp said, we always convert them to days out or restaurant vouchers (pre covid!) As its better value than just the money off.

OhioOhioOhio · 12/11/2020 06:58

Op I totally don't understand them either.

Rainb0wDrops · 12/11/2020 06:59

I love the vouchers! Often use for restaurants but also have had tickets for Legoland, Longleat, Watercress Line and Historic Dockyard. There's so many places you can use them!
Don't waste them on money off your shopping

Download the app and look at rewards

lottiequeen · 12/11/2020 07:13

I think the reward partners have become fewer to be honest. Yes, there are multiple days out but other than that RAC driving lessons and restaurants, not sure there's much else and can't go to these anyway. I think there's a jewellery shop.

ethelredonagoodday · 12/11/2020 07:17

I think they've scaled the rewards back, but in the past they were really worthwhile. We have used them for countless family meals out and even a trip to London where the hotel, train fares and some attraction entries were bought with the vouchers.

The key is the multiplier, but if they aren't really doing that now, they're probably much less useful...

Crazydogmumma · 12/11/2020 07:20

I converted mine to use in the Denby online shop and have been building up a whole new dinner set.

OhioOhioOhio · 12/11/2020 07:28

Oh. A jewelry shop. Is it decent jewelry?

whitetilesmurf · 12/11/2020 07:35

Thanks. I’ll at the app this morning

I used a small chunk of mine to buy a delivery saver pass. I loved the idea as the points meant the pass was a third of the price and I didn't have to spend any actual money on delivery costs for 6 months.

Bearbehind · 12/11/2020 07:44

The jewellery shop is Goldsmiths and £5 gets you £15 but anything that’s reduced gets marked back up to full price if you use Tesco vouchers

InTheLongGrass · 12/11/2020 09:17

I've looked occasionally at the rewards stuff, but there is nothing that appeals and is vaguely local. So I just take them into tesco and discount them off my bill.

whitetilesmurf · 12/11/2020 09:21

The options are a bit strange. We are in Scotland and there isn’t much there. I’d rather just get 6 bottles of wine!

I used mine recently on Denby. I used about £20 of Tesco vouchers and got 4 bowls and 4 plates (seconds) for which I only had to pay P&P so I was pretty pleased with that!
IMHO, the best value thing to do with them is to buy a Friends and Family Railcard to get discounted rail travel for a year...or at least it used to be when I went anywhere by train!

BunnyBerries · 12/11/2020 09:43

@whitetilesmurf

If you ever use Irish Ferries or Stenaline they triple up for those.

I agree though with Denby, you could convert up to £80 to up to £240 on Denby and get a big new set of lovely cutlery that would last you forever for example.

Basically you just log in and add the amount you want to convert on the relevant reward and most of the time they email you the codes to use instantly.
