My mum has asked for books for Christmas. She likes romantic fiction and I'd like to get her some books that are really heartwarming, cosy, romantic and festive. Some humour would be good too. I've got Karen Swann's Christmas Party so far as she's read her books before.
Can be anyone recommend any more please?

Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. I like to read it every Christmas

I’ve just read Sarah morgan’s one more for Christmas, that was lovely and festive! Could try some of her older ones too. Features a bit of USA, a bit of Scotland etc. Trisha Astley is another Christmassy writer and I’ve heard good things!

The Christmas Invitation by Trisha Ashley or indeed any book by Trisha Ashley.

The best thing is that she'll pass them to me to read afterwards Grin

I am reading The Thursday Murder Club. It's very light, very humorous, and about a bunch of pensioners who solve a murder. I know it's not romance but it's the only book I've read in ages that has made me laugh aloud.

A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg is lovely - definitely festive and heartwarming.

I second Skipping Christmas as well, I love it. The audiobook version is really good too.

There is a very recent thread asking exactly the same. Lots of good suggestions, including Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher and The Twelve Days of Christmas by Trisha Ashley.

Belinda Jones - Winter Wonderland.

I read it every year, I love the authors writing.

As a couple of pps have said, Skipping Christmas is one if my favourites. Read it every December. Also, Christmas at the Beach Hut by Veronica Henry woukd fit the bill too.
