Teenagers and Christmas

I have 4 older children, 19, 18, 16 and 14 and I really dont know what to do about Christmas this year. The eldest 2 are at University. None of them want anything apart the youngest wants random bits off amazon. So I was so daring do I buy them all a little something nice, most likely jewellery for the girls and then give them money to spend after Christmas?

Wondering not daring how auto correct did that I dont know

I do a big hamper style box with lots of bits of their favourite things - so shower gels, lipsticks, magazines, books, sweets, fluffy socks etc
This supplements the ‘big’ gift and at least gives it a sense of occasion

If you just give them the money, what will they spend it on? Can you do half and half?
I’d want a a Christmas morning and would end up spending £££ on bits they hadn’t asked for, so there was an experience.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that, as long as you think they will be happy with no presents to actually unwrap. Many prefer cash!
I would still do them a stocking each though!!

For the uni ones I'd do a hamper of toiletries and food for them to take back with them. Probably a hamper of treats for the 16yo and get the youngest what he wants from Amazon. Give them some cash too if you want to.

I can't be doing with buying pointless gifts just for the sake of having something to give.
