Recommendations for really soft top socks please!

For my dad as he's getting a bit older his skin is getting more sensitive and he's finding normal socks irritate his legs. I had thought about bamboo socks but never tried them do not sure if they are really soft! Any recommendations appreciated as I think this might be the first year ever that he'll appreciate getting socks!

Bamboo socks are amazingly soft - i wont buy anything else now! Look at thought - loads of bamboo socks.

Seasalt of Cornwall do lovely socks, bamboo and others. You can get gift boxes. Bought previously for daughter and parents in eighties, highly recommend

These bamboo socks have a roll top so shouldn't grip as tightly at the top.

I’m seconding “Gentle Grip” as well OP, I have ridiculously sensitive skin and these work well for me

Also consider those suitable for Diabetics as they are looser around the ankle and very soft
