Hi all,

Hit me with your best ideas.

So far I’ve got a slide and a trampoline on my list

I've just bought the Aldi wooden kitchen for mine, as it should do her for years, and the little people big yellow bus. That should do her!

Wooden kitchen here! Hoping it grows with her, but if not it was only £30 in the aldi specialbuys last weekend!

Ooh! Sounds as though I’ll have to check out the Aldi middle aisle

My DS was 18 months last christmas and we got him a wooden shop with till and loads of food, including ones that Velcro together that he can “cut”, all from Lidl, and he’s played with it daily ever since.

DD will be 20 months at christmas. I've got her the Playmobil 123 zoo and the Peppa Pig medical case. I might get her a vet set too as she loves animals and cuddly toys. We already have a trampoline, kitchen nd balance bike, (all the big toys!) from her older brothers.

I’ve got my toddler grandson a Plan Toys animal set, a Hape wooden dollhouse, Some sticker books and a pop up book.
He also enjoys Peppa pig figures, and wants a pink doll buggy.

Aldi are also doing a nice wooden easel. I got that for my nephew last year but they've brought it back this year as special buys. That with some big chalks from Asda worked great.

I think I've gone overboard with my DD.
wooden kitchen from asda (35 on sale)
happyland windmill toy from elc
Dyson pretend vacuum
afternoon tea role play toy
tent for living room
Some new peekaboo books
Ninky nonk toy
A farm yard set

She already has so many toys. I think I'll have to reign it in for her birthday 😕

Both mine loved the Orchard toys 2 piece jigsaw puzzles from 18 months, think they had pets, farm animals and zoo animal sets.

I agree with the orchard toys 2 piece jigsaws, DS1 is 3.5 and still plays with them a lot as we turn them over and play matching pairs memory games.

DC2 is getting a couple of the touchy feely books from the Never Touch A... range, a large box of wooden blocks and Toot Toot vehicles. We've still got so many toys in this house I can't cope with many more!

18 month DD
wooden washing machine from asda (they had 20% of wooden toys recently, might still be on)
wooden tool bench also Asda (she loves puzzles and taking things apart and putting them back together)
Indgio Jam wooden school bus with peg people
Melissa and Doug shape stackers
Bigjigs train (shares a love of trains with her 2 year old brother)
Loose parts for Sensory Play (few random Grimms and Grapart sets)
Design and Drill Robot
Half of the Lild and Aldi wooden toy collections in last weeks leaflet -

I find it so hard to buy for her as there's already a ton of stuff from her 2 year old brother (balance bike, Ikea kitchen, Playmobil, sandpit etc), she doesn't like any tv shows and has no interest in soft toys or dolls. They play with a lot of the same toys so most of the above will be shared with him.
