What to buy our 6 month old for Christmas to last till she is 1?

Hello there,

Our daughter will be nearly 6 months old at Christmas. Ideas to buy for her that will be good for that age and also has she gets to age 1? Her birthday is in July! Small and big present ideas would be fab! Thank you so much! A little stuck! Xx

Last year we bought my 6mth old a ball pool which has been a massive hit and still gets played with regularly by both her and our 4 year old. You do need a lot more balls than come with them though. Think we have about 100 in our small one.

It's a good age for an activity table. Possibly walker? Then for little gifts I'd go musical instruments and anything that lights up.

I've got some of those hide & squeak eggs in my basket at Argos. Are they worth it then?

Yes, my 4 year old still plays with them in her kitchen.

Can you buy fisher price toys in the uk? The baby swing is great if you have somewhere in the garden to hang it

Buy wooden bricks to build with and they'll last til she's 7.
