By some miracle I’ve actually come up with present ideas for my teenagers that they’ll love. Now I need something equally exciting for my 7yo and nearly 9yo, and I’m stuck.
The 7yo will get some Pokemon themed items, both will get books and a board game (suggestions welcome!) but besides that I’m stuck! My 9yo tells me he’s grown out of most of his toys (except his tablet Sad) but still wants something to play with. Snap circuits/ ant farm/ roller skates have been hits in the last year. He likes nature, sport and craft. He’s fonder of screens than I’d like.
Ds7 still plays with figures (Pokemon mainly) and toys. He has less patience for building things/ time taken to set up before use. He’s active and likes imaginative play.
Both have bikes, scooters, roller skates.
Can anyone suggest something that’s gone down well with similar aged children that I might not have thought of?
Thanks!

Metal detector. I got my DD one when she was 9 or 10 and it was the best thing ever. She and her mates spent HOURS in our garden. We have a big garden so it was fine for them to dig there....your son could detect on the beach. or in local areas. We got a cheap one but now she's older I might upscale as the original one died some time ago.

My 7 (nearly 8) yo old loves gravitrax which is like a sophisticated marble run

I’ve got my soon to be 7 year old the Pokemon TCG Battle academy game which I’m also looking forward to playing. Also Pokemon trainer trivia electronic game if he’s into Pokemon!

Pogo stick, or skateboard.
Trampoline, to share, if you have a big enough garden.
Football shirt/kit for their favourite team.
Lego.
A tent/wigwam.
Cameras.

Some good ideas. Will definitely get the Pokemon game, at will look into some of the others. Does stickbot studio work with the kids kindle fire?
And can anyone recommend a pogo stick that’s not too tricky? I had one as a child and never got the hang of it, but it sounds fun!

I know that Stickbot works on Amazon Fire

@Fivemoreminutes1 is that the kids one? I know Bluetooth is disabled on it which rules out a lot.
