I have 2 DD's with fabric advent calendars- normally I fill with celebrations but this year I want to go all out and do little presents in each pocket.

DD1 is 13 and an eco-warrior; it's all about sustainability and stationery in her head!

DD2 is 3 and into Disney Princesses, Lego, Peppa Pig, colouring... normal 3 year old stuff!

Budget of around £60 per calendar - average £2.50 per gift/day?

TIA Grin

Bamboo toothbrushes
Reusable straws
Lush vegan products
Boots have some vegan/bamboo/eco stuff in 3 for 2
KvD is a vegan makeup brand and I'm sure there are others, there was some in b&m explicitly stating vegan
Water bottle

Mini disney princesses
Blind bags of various toys
Crayola stuff
Accessories - claires has a range aimed at 3-6 year olds
Sweets/chocolate

Personally I would just buy them the Smiggle advent calendar and a Lego or Princess calendar and then fill the fabric one with sweets for myself Grin

For the 3 year old you might be able to pick up a bundle of figurines or toys on eBay. Extra eco points for reusing!

For dd13 silicone straws, one of those scrubby net bags for bath soap and some soap. In stationery, twig pencils look lovely. You can get cards with seeds embedded that the recipient can plant. Faber Castell are a carbon neutral company. Also some seeds to plant might be nice. You can buy recycled post it’s (branded). This site does a range of I used to be recycled notebooks and pens

Vouchers for consumables for the 13 yo, the idea of not just getting stuff for the sake of stuff is pretty sustainable!

Maybe have a think of things that she would need anyway (toiletries, food, etc).

Donation to plant trees/offset carbon footprint? Beeswax wraps?

Do you have a local zero waste shop? You could get some mason jars/clip jars and go with her to fill them.
