I'm stuck.
So far I've got

Bose soundlink
Shaver
Waffle maker ( one of his only requests)
Electric toothbrush
Dressing gown
Some clothes he chose
Headset.. But may have that early as his is broken
A new football
Bedding

Stocking
Stationery
Smellies
Hair stuff
Underwear
Earphones
Novelty daft bits like finger basketball
Mug
Thermos mug
Decent water bottle

Then I'm stuck. Just want some odds and sods for the tree as his looks do much lessbthsn the others and whilst he knows and appreciates his is pricier just want them all to have simialar.

Forgot I'd even posted.
We have all of the above /done all of the above.
There's nothing food treat wise that he wouldn't get at any given time.
Only thing would be a emergency cash keyring however money burns a hole in his pocket and it wouldn't last a day, he'd have an excuse to of spent it. Lol

I've got everyone else asking for ideas for him. Which lots are giving him JD vouchers as there's always things in there he wants. But I'm stumped.

Mine got a mini fridge for his birthday which was a surprisingly huge hit. 13yo now wants one too...

Plantpotpot · 28/09/2020 20:20

Such a difficult age. Metallic balls (Amazon)

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 28/09/2020 20:26

DS got a charging station for his various controllers for his birthday and he loves it. I do too because we were burning though so many batteries.

Driving experience? Went down well last year.

I'm basically following for ideas though.

For those of you that have bought the mini fridges what do your DC put in them?
I'm considering one for DS.......

Howmanysleepsnow · 29/09/2020 09:26

Mine uses his mostly for drinks, though it also occasionally contains food- yoghurts, chicken legs, pepperami, chocolate (heathen! Who puts chocolate in the fridge?Shock)
I think it’s the fact that it feels like his room is his own little bed sit that appeals, and I’m pretty sure that having his own private supply of stuff suits him too.

DragonmotherKhaleesi · 29/09/2020 09:31

Haha! Chocolate in the fridge Shock
I think I'll surprise him with one.

Goldistheanswer · 29/09/2020 10:37

Are the mini fridges noisy?

Howmanysleepsnow · 29/09/2020 11:17

Not that I’ve noticed, hold on and I’ll check...,
DS’s is damn near silent, just a near imperceptible hum (unlike the monstrosity in my kitchen!)

"Just want some odds and sods for the tree as his looks do much lessbthsn the others and whilst he knows and appreciates his is pricier just want them all to have simialar."

I have a 15 year old DS too. Don't buy tat for no reason, that he will not want or appreciate. You wanting them all to have similar is your imagined need not his. Let it go and fight capitalism and global warming (tongue in cheek just in case anyone is hard of humoured)

I8toys · 29/09/2020 11:53

Liking the idea of a mini fridge filled with chocolate and pepparami! :-)

Can also get one for the older DS and put beer in it. He can then take it to Uni with him!!

EnglishRose1320 · 29/09/2020 19:12

Does he sleep well? My ds15 is an awful sleeper, takes him ages to fall asleep so I've got him a weighted blanket as a big, bulky yet practical present. He's tried one before and loves the feel if them so even if it doesn't help with the sleep hopefully it wont be wasted.

He gets a smaller pile under the tree than his brother but knows his is more expensive and is happy with that.

caringcarer · 29/09/2020 19:23

I have a sports mad 14 year old. He will have a box of 6 good Duke cricket balls in stocking and a new club sweat top for training. He wants s Fitbit from us. He usually has a cricket ticket for an international game but that won't work this year. Swimming goggles, new trainers.
