Getting ready for Christmas 2020

Who has started getting ready for next year especially with all the sales online and in the stores? All the Christmas pyjamas and fragrance gift sets are perfect to horde because they’re staple gifts.

Thank you, Fluffy - he was actually quite easy - admittedly rather time consuming though.

I’m thinking of making Delia’s mincemeat soon. Must remember to tell Dh not to put any suitable jars in the recycling - I only have one so far.

Tempting also to make apple chutney - previously with a mass of windfalls from a dd’s tree, but will have to buy apples this year - there are hardly any on her very old tree this year. 🙁

We have loads of jars. Some bought, some saved. We make loads of fruit and chilli jam, plus we also pickle / preserve stuff we've grown at the allotment. We need to try last year's beetroot!

I’ve started making a list of the things I need I’m determined 2 keep it cheap this year
