Frozen stuffing

So it's my first time cooking Christmas dinner and we are having some of my husbands family over

I like to be organized so have tried to prepare some bits before the day and made a nice big batch of bread stuffing as per my mums recipe (breadcrumbs, onion, butter and herbs) and froze i last week

I assumed I could thaw it out for Christmas Eve, stuff the neck of the turkey with stuffing and the main cavity with an onion and some herbs, refrigerate overnight and pop it in the oven on Christmas morning after coming up to room temperature.
I'm now reading conflicting advice on weather I should or shouldn't thaw the stuffing before cooking it
Which could mean none in the bird....
I've also read conflicting advice on pre stuffing the turkey
My mum used to make and stuff the night before but she doesn't know if I can safely thaw stuffing

Can anyone offer advice? Does anyone use frozen homemade stuffing?
I'd really hate to make our guests sick 😬

I've just frozen my (pre-bought) pigs in blankets. Says right there on the pack you can.

And then to defrost for at least 12 hours before cooking. (Don't cook from frozen)

Can't see how stuffing meat would be any different to sausage/bacon rules?

My homemade stuffing is in the freezer.

I'll take it out to defrost late on Chr. Eve and stuff the turkey in the morning. It doesn't take long at all.

I only stuff the neck end now - any extra stuffing is cooked separately.
I'll shove an onion or two up the other end, though.
From all I've ever read, it's not advisable to stuff in advance.
