Dh is going apoplectic. two high value packages from amazon, vanished.ntracking shows delivered. Unfortunately to a different number that doesn't exist on our road. Or any road near. To someone called Dave. No picture of id(required for this) or our door.I don't know any daves round here.(small town). Going through customer service, who treat you like a small child.
Ds ordered a package. Posted through letterbox. It was a record, so, no. Found two days later behind the recycling bin. Wet through.
I had a big package delivered yesterday. Did was in the front room next to the door. They left it in full view of the street on the doorstep.
I know they are busy and on min wage etc, but Arrrgh!

I have had two deliveries via Dpd today ordered on Monday. No extra charge from standard delivery. Nearly fell over in shock.

It's my parents and my sister have had issues with Hermes deliveries this Christmas. Been a real pain to sort and not easy. Both finalily showed up yesterday after lots of chasing on the phone and via social media. Kind of get the impresses that they just don't care, regardless of whether it's Christmas and Christmas gifts.

Although to counter balance this I'd like to add that I was really impressed with Victoria Secret/Pink. Ordered a gift at the start of December but it didn't show up. Used the online chat to query and immediately they organised it to be resent and sent express to guarantee delivery in time, no cost to me and with a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Ps always found Amazon and Hermes to be lovely near me. Super friendly and thoughtful!

Nothing at all important, but some velvet red ribbon I ordered from EBay will now be delivered in mid February, apparently.

I had the opposite issue with my mum’s present. I ordered her a hamper of nice cheeses and biscuits from a deli on Orkney that she loves. I was being all organised, so I did the order in mid-November, and I am sure I selected a dispatch date on or after 19th December - so it would arrive in time for Christmas.

Somehow this bit of the order failed (I don’t know if it was a problem with the website or if I cocked up) and it was dispatched the next working day - so mum got her Christmas present a week before the end of November, and has eaten most of it by now.

My parcel that was supposed to be sent on 18th, then 23rd is now being resent on Monday. They were unable to send it today. No Idea what's been going on.

Fuzzybumblebee · 29/12/2019 14:01

I had a coat that was supposed to be coming from next ordered in November as it said there would be a delay of 3 weeks, checked email said it had been sent from the warehouse, checked again 3 weeks later to have a email saying thank you for returning the coat, never received it to return

Bombaybunty · 03/01/2020 10:34

4th delivery date is today. At least the supplier has refunded me the cost of the parcel.

My H&M parcel (sent via Hermes)was finally delivered yesterday, it was meant to arrive on 23rd December. On the plus side, when I contacted H&M last week they gave me a full refund as they believed the package had been mislaid, so I've now got the items for free.
