Keeping them young

More and more as I read my posts I'm becoming aware that at Christmas I treat my two kids in a childlike way.. they both enjoy it btw. They're a lad (high functioning ASD,20.. low maturity approx 12, uni student) and a girl (15, young for age, helps me care for her brother)
They both have full Christmas Eve boxes, stockings on our bed and presents in their own piles downstairs (we also paper the door and they 'breakthrough it on Christmas morning!)
They do the whole putting out carrots etc too.
Both kids love all the traditions we've built and hate it if I say that maybe we should stop..
Do you still go all out for your older kids? Or have you stopped ? Or have they got you stop?

I dont think you have to stop. Kids like routine and the family traditions you have built up. Keep going as long as they want it.

My kids are a bit younger than yours have stop believing but still like doing stocking etc.

I am 40 and my mum still makes stocking for me sister and I which I love. It's tradition. Nothing to do with maturity
