She doesn't wear make up, loves sport and riding. Obsessed with music. Doesn't read Hmm

She has an apple watch as her main present.

Preferably from Amazon!

Thank you, we've all run out of ideas!

How about a string of fairy lights with clips on - to clip photos etc on. DD, also in Y9, has asked for these. They’ve got them in Waterstones and Tiger. And a small battery charger & rechargeable batteries to go with it!

hiredandsqueak · 18/12/2019 08:57

A ukelele so she can make her own music and a book so she can teach herself to play? I bought dd one a couple of years ago and it took her no time at all to be able to play.

SayOohLaLa · 18/12/2019 08:58

Amazon voucher for £20 then she can get what she wants, music, earrings etc. Stay simple.

Trewser · 18/12/2019 09:03

Thank you. She has the fairy lights, she plays the guitar already. Would rather not do vouchers but may have to!

You can get ear pods on amazon for quite cheap. They're obviously not the apple ones, but are pretty much exactly the same. I have some and they work really well.

Trewser · 18/12/2019 09:10

Thank you! She already has air pods. She's the youngest of three so a lot of things have been handed down!

I would suggest a voucher too.

I have a year 10 dd. Would any of the following ideas appeal?

  • Cushions/knick knacks for bedroom (e.g.light box, mini cactus plants, pinboard, Christmas decorations etc)
  • Friends trivial pursuit game, perhaps with other friends merchandise
  • Fluffy dressing gown (or fluffy socks, new pyjamass, fluffy blanket etc)
  • 3 month baking club subscription (probably around £25ish)
  • Nice hand cream/shower gel etc (dd loves Soap & Glory) or body sprays (dd likes the Ted Baker ones)
  • mini rucksack/other bag
  • cinema vouchers with a bag of popcorn
  • fancy stationery
Trewser · 18/12/2019 09:22

Marvellous. Thank you. A fluffy dressing gown would be perfect, just realised hers is ancient. Body spray also a possibility.

She's weird as she doesn't watch tv either 🤷‍♀️

Fluffy dressing gown is a great idea. My Dd is also getting fluffy slipper boots which she has been wanting.

Trewser · 18/12/2019 09:25

Yes soft and fluffy the way to go I think! Maybe a throw as well!

My dd got a fluffy dressing gown from her grandparents last year and she adores it! 🙂

Blingismything · 18/12/2019 09:29

There is a really lovely teddy fleece jacket from Uniqlo for £14.90, I have bought for my 11,13,and 14 year old nieces.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 18/12/2019 11:05

New jods, silk for her hat, riding gloves, horsey hoody, treats for the horse,

MrsPnut · 18/12/2019 11:10

How about a card game, my yr9 daughter sounds similar and she has got unstable unicorns and exploding kittens for Christmas. She also loves stationery and pin badges.

AuntSpiker · 18/12/2019 11:16

My DD loved her teddy bear mattress topper from Dunelm. It sounds boring, but honestly she adores it.

MrOnionsBumperRoller · 18/12/2019 16:37

M&S has lovely supersoft onesies 2 for £25. They have sloths and various animals but 3 different unicorn ones (from a being into riding perspective!).

Skyejuly · 18/12/2019 16:54

Mine like the new impulse sprays and victoria secrets sprays.
