Neighbourhood children gifts

So on our little street everyone buys the children a little gift. I used to do a selection box but we've been given some craft sets( had a sneak peek) so need to get something else. Trouble is all the different ages and a low budget?
Ideally no more than £6/7 as there are 9!!
Boys age 12 /12/9/7/4/4/2
Girls 4/11

Any suggestions please????😫🤞

I would look on the works website. Lots of 2 for £10 children’s gifts

I'd stick with selection boxes, otherwise it will get out of hand.

Either books from the Works or a selection box each. And I deffo wouldn't;t be spending more than a fiver each. Could you maybe just buy some big bags of sweets and make little boxes/cones for each of them, with cellophane? Would save you a fortune!

Will look at the works, I dont want go be the only one who does selection boxes when they've made the effort for a gift. Would a selection box and a little pot of slime/putty work? Not for eldest boys though🤔 top trumps? X

Have a look at Dunelm - they have some Christmas mug and cookie sets for £5 which might work?

ineedto · 11/12/2019 14:12

Home bargains have Christmas cups/mugs for under £3

how about an activity book each? you can get colouring books in all sorts of themes some would be suitable for older children.

or an outside toy each they can play with each other? football/skipping ropes/bat and ball. sports direct might be good for this :)

12 year old boys books? But you have to know what they like.

Good to avoid selection boxes if you can..

Let us know what you get - it could help all of us for years to come!.

The range have good sets like make your own soaps and grow your own crystals and lots of similar sets for all ages 2 for £8.

Hey all, so l might not be popular with the parents but hopefully the children will like it!...I got each of them a bag of chocolate coins, a hot chocolate cone, a £1 pack of colouring sheets/pencil( dinosaur/frozen etc) and a pot of galaxy slime!
Total cost per child was about £4!!
