Gluten free Christmas - help needed

What can I buy and what do I need to think about?
Gluten free mince pies from Sainsburys are nice.
Gluten free bread sauce from M&S.
Gluten free biscuits to serve with cheese.
What can we have for tea in the evening? I would normally buy some of the party deal food but I'm guessing those are out.
Any help would be really appreciated - convenience foods only though as I am a lousy cook!

Have a look on Facebook for Becky Excell. She blogs about gluten free food and lists the products available in each supermarket.

If you can find M&S gluten free tortilla chips they're amazing.Something gluten free that tastes better than the usual version.

This. They are so more-ish. Generally not to be found in my local M&S as I have a habit of buying up all the stock when they have them in Blush

M and s and coop all have great looking gf party food ranges this year, and with coop lots are in with regular foods and on their frozen offers so not more expensive. Asda have some decent quiche, pork pie and sausage rolls in their chilled bit. Also ocado has some great bits, just search gluten free and you'll have endless options! Asda extra special sausages and pigs in blankets are gf. They have a pig in blanket and stuffing thing this year that looks impressive, in the chilled bit with other pigs in blankets.

I think the biggest issue is cross contamination - so separate butter, chopping board, out gf on top shelf of oven etc. Also if it is buffet type food, people eating all the gf stuff before the gf person has had chance or using knives etc and causing cross contamination, so an area for gf so people know not to touch that stuff would be good!

It's worth checking what your GF guest would actually like to eat - I'm GF, and never liked stuffing!

It's also definitely worth asking them what level of gluten free they are - I'm only intolerant; I will use the same butter and baking tins. Others need to be a lot more careful.

I don't know how far they're coming or how long they're staying, but maybe worth asking if they'd like to bring something, e.g. a gluten free dessert (doesn't have to be Christmas pudding). I'm very happy to do that; as a bonus there's a pudding I really like!
