Dupe of a 'Reborn' doll

Hi

My 7 year old daughter would love a reborn doll for Christmas. They're just way too pricey though and our budget can't stretch to one.

Can anyone recommend an alternative? I've had a look on Amazon and the dupes have mixed reviews - I'm never sure if it's just the seller adding the positive reviews!

Does anyone have any experience of a decent reborn for under £40/£50?

The smyths one is very realistic....

I wouldnt personally say the "reborns" are actually for Children...

They are very heavy and delicate.

@River001

Are you in the UK?
Do you buy 2nd hand dolls?

Well i say 2nd hand. But they have been kept on a bed under a blanket.
They are all from America and very expensive, some in the region of £1000

Thanks again everyone.

I know my op says Reborn but I worded it wrong. I realised genuine Reborns aren't for kids - I should have asked for recommendations for a realistic looking weighted doll. It looks like the Berenguer or Tiny Treasures ones are what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your help!

I am gutted I've never saw that one before. My daughter chose the one with hair - dolls usually freak her out but she loved it. I really really love the one you've linked I might show her it and see if I can swap it. Don't think I have my receipt though Sad

Definitely worth a try, I'm pretty sure you can swap something without the receipt. Smile
