Present help for Australia

My sister, her partner and their 3 year old live in Australia and my brother is going over to visit them this Christmas.

I'd really like to buy my sister and her family a gift of some kind and send it over rather than get them individual presents.

Australia import rules are really strict around food etc and I dont want it to be too weighty.

Has anyone any ideas? Star

Oooh! I'm from Australia and live in the UK so feel your pain! The rules are strict yes, but usually if the food is packaged and its something like sweets or biscuits you'll be fine - they will just check it at customs. They won't allow any fresh fruit / meat / dairy etc. And you also need to be careful with untreated wood.
If you're in London I love liberty for little unique trinkets. Otherwise just stick to the above and you'll be right.

Oh and make sure you mark the item as 'gift' and put a low value so your recipients don't have yo pay customs fees :)

Have you looked at the Destination... board games? I've got one for my sister and her family, they live in a different country to me but enjoy visiting. There's also a London Board Game in a similar style.

They do love board games though and their kids are aged between 11 to 17.

My kids love their Aussie Kangaroo and Koala toys. What about a British teddy for your Niece? You can usually get Beefeater ones from tourist shops.

M&S tinned shortbread? I think they have pig tins full of percy pigs this Xmas too. Both these will get through customs if they are declared, I think.
