Any suggestions? We're out of ideas, in previous years he's had Match Attax and Jelly Beans but doesn't want either this year.

I have bought my DD a popcorn one.

Also seen pork scratching one advertised, if he would like that.

Tea or coffee, if he drinks those.

slalomsuki · 18/11/2019 18:45

There is a 12 Lynx one in Amazon which was £10 last week. Has a variety of miniatures of their products which he may like.

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 18/11/2019 18:45

Get a box type one, stick £1 in every day.

slalomsuki · 18/11/2019 18:45

That should say 12 day one

SlayingDragons · 18/11/2019 18:46

My 14yr old DS is getting a hot sauce one from B&M.

SlayingDragons · 18/11/2019 18:47

It’s this one here
Also available on Amazon but for nearly 4x the price!

dancingbadger · 18/11/2019 18:48

I got my DS the Lynx one too. But I agree there are very little options for teenage boys.

Exp1etiveDeLighted · 18/11/2019 18:50

Thank you. Hot sauce would be good, he likes that. DH has got the pork scratching one, DS doesn't like them, or tea, coffee or Lynx. Popcorn also sounds good. £1 coins is clever but it would make his massively more valuable than DD's.

Lego!!

flissity · 18/11/2019 19:01

There is a Haribo one available

OkayGo · 18/11/2019 19:02

I’ve just got myself a puzzle advent calendar. Or I saw a cheese one on amazon. There are also men’s grooming ones on there, or Funko Pop ones too (little figures)

Exp1etiveDeLighted · 18/11/2019 20:29

I've suggested cheese as I think it would be perfect for him (we buy a new one to try most weeks and he invariably likes them) he's thinking about it.

Not into grooming at all, he's clean but not very interested in appearance. Finds lego and any sort of puzzle very fiddly (dyspraxic).

The cheese one is available in Sainsburys - prob other supermarkets too but we saw it in there yesterday - think it was £10

georgialondon · 18/11/2019 20:40

I'd just go with the Haribo one

NC4Now · 18/11/2019 20:41

One with pockets and fill it with things he likes

soupforbrains · 18/11/2019 20:45

My DS is a l it the younger (13) but s to lol enjoys the lego advent calendars.

Also we have a Swizzels sweets calendar which was only £4 from sainsburys which is a sweet treat but isn't chocolate?

soupforbrains · 18/11/2019 20:47

Sorry op didn't see your reply about Lego/puzzles and dyspraxia.

I saw a socks advent calendar which I thought looked great but I expect a teenager would be so bothered. Hmmm the cheese one sounds like your best bet maybe? Good luck.

stucknoue · 18/11/2019 21:13

There's a cheese one in Morrison's, dd and I are sharing it

Exp1etiveDeLighted · 18/11/2019 21:14

He's not that keen on Haribo or Swizzles either (just hasn't got much of a sweet tooth). I remember seeing the cheese one in Sainsburys last year but haven't yet this year, however it's where we do our main shop so will keep an eye out for it. I'd struggle to think of 24 small things for a refillable one TBH. I think at the moment he's so stressed about his mocks in December that he isn't feeling the Christmas spirit yet but we can't not do one for him.

stucknoue · 18/11/2019 21:14

It was £8 by the way

Exp1etiveDeLighted · 18/11/2019 21:15

x-posted, DH works near a Morrison's could get him to check out their cheese one.

I got this. But I am a massive nerd Blush www.amazon.co.uk/Holmes-Advent-Calendar-Solve-Yourself/dp/3946120423?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

BertieBotts · 18/11/2019 21:23

Might be a bit old for this, but I think I might get my 11yo the Harry Potter stationery one from Primark. It's £10.

emsmum79 · 18/11/2019 22:35
