£20 spend on 17yr boy/10yr girl

I'm taking part in Christmas charity gifting in my local area. I've done it before but usually it's been from children under 6 which have been similar ages to my nieces/nephews so was always easy to buy for. The only details you get are whether they're a bit or girl and they're age so it's not alot to go on. I have no clue what 17 year olds or 10 year olds are into and £20 may not go very far. Any ideas please x

slime kits would go down well for the 10 year old, maybe a set like this for the boy?

10 year old girl might like something from Smiggle. Maybe a pencil case, and something to go in it.
A Lush gift set.
Both would probably appreciate a selection box if you are under budget!

I second the PP's suggestions for the 10yo. Have a look on wickeduncle.co.uk for inspiration for the older boy but buy elsewhere as the site is pricey! I do a similar scheme to you and have found some good ideas for teens on there

For 17 year old what about a cinema voucher plus box of sweets or chocs?

10 year old - jewellery making kits - lots of different ones on amazon.

I have a ten year old dd and a 17 year old ds so might have an idea here!
Ten year old likes slime!, bath bombs, prank toys, kids perfume, charades, money boxes ( loves these!) selection boxes, pencil cases, smelly pens, earphones in sparkles glitter etc
Ds 17 likes a selection box, earphones, voucher for cinema, all for one etc, sports socks, football boots bag, smellys

Although slime is a great gift for most 10 year olds, I’d be mindful of the situation that this child and their family might be in. They might all be living in one room and the parent might not have the headspace to clear up the associated mess! I’m sure a 10 year old girl would love a smiggle pencil case/ bag/ even lunch box to take into school and show off.

A 17 year old boy is more difficult, maybe some of those look-a-like ear pods, a branded beanie hat?

Thanks so much for all the suggestions it's made buying something much easier x

I found that smiggles was on the way out when DD was 10. All kind of notebooks and fluffy pens were a big hit, TheWorks is a good place for this. Also all kind of fluffy pencil cases are popular.

DD loved also proper jewellery, she got some bracelets from Accessorize at that age.

Lush is popular but I would go for a shower jelly or similar, depending on what the charity gifting is, some may only have a shower not a bath of they love on temporary accommodation.

I have a -7yr old ds and he’s a nightmare to buy for! However I love the idea that he’s included in this scheme - so many teenagers get left out of things like this and boys being a big harder to buy for often get forgotten Hmm
Anyway you could do a stocking thing for the 17yr old with lots of small items
Pack of cards
Chocolate orange
Touch screen gloves
Headphones
Adidas/lynx gift set
Multi tool
Beanie hat
Costa voucher
Torch
Mini pringles tub
Chocolate spread jar
Lottery ticket
Got chocolate sachets
Mug
Chilli sauce

That’s meant to say 17 yr old ds Grin

My DD was given a pack of stretch choker necklaces (the ones that look like a henna tattoo) when she was 10. It had mixed colours (and some with flowers) and was not only inexpensive but went down a storm. She still wears them now (aged 14).

Branded hat or cap? Might be a chance for them to have something with a label which is so important to that age group
