Could anyone suggest somewhere to take a toddler to see Father Christmas while we are in Bath for the weekend of 15th/16th December please?
(I did previosly post in MN Bath Local but no replies).

The Father Christmas workshop experience at Milsom Place is amazing bathboxoffice.org.uk/whatson/father-christmass-workshop/ and there’s a good one in SouthGate Christmas Village.

Does it need to be in bath or surrounding area?

My kids are too old now Sad but if they were still little I would definitely be going to the Milsom Place one that Ricekrispie linked. I know one of the actors involved in creating it and it's going to be wonderful this year.

The American Museum (on the edge of town) is a lovely place to visit at Christmas time as it's always decorated beautifully and they have a Santa too that weekend. americanmuseum.org

Definitely go for Milsom Place though – I'm even thinking of borrowing a niece so I get to go!

Thank you so much for your advice Joan, it sounds lovely.
Cric, I think if it is quite nearby to Bath it would also be doable.

Up to what age do you think the Christmas Workshop is good for? Is it aimed more at really young. Thank you

Avon Valley Farm Park is just outside Bath, about 20 minutes away, and they do an amazing christmas experience with lots of extras (fairground rides, decorating gingerbread, reindeer, free hot chocolate for the grown ups); or longleat safari park do a santa train, although it may be sold out by now

BrightonBB I’m sure it’s not just for tinies - it’s an immersive experience with actors so probably great for slightly older children, and I think you need to state the kids’ ages when booking so the elves are fully prepped. I only said mine are too old because they’re cynical teens/preteens who would look at me like Hmm if I suggested a visit to Santa!

Not Santa, but there are Christmassy shows on at The Egg- the children’s theatre.

The longleat Festival of Lights is a fab day out and the singing Christmas tree ❤️

But is a 30 min drive... worth it though!
