My DH is the hardest person to buy for. He just buys what he wants when he sees it AND has a December birthday too ffs.
So far have a gridit, and the new Robert Harris book. Budget £150-200, but tend to get a few smaller bits.
Into mountain-biking, but again I wouldn’t even know where to start with that as all his gear is quite high spec. 🧐
Any lightbulb gifts out there?

I ask. Especially if it is a year I can afford a bit more.

Most years DH will ask for model train items I would never manage to buy without proper product codes and website help.

Voucher for a mountain bike coaching session from a champion mtb rider?

orangeteal · 10/11/2019 18:40

Is there an event he would enjoy tickets to? Musician, comedian, sporting event?

Printed book of photographs of you together through the years.

If there is any food or drink that he likes, a very high end version of that that he wouldn't buy himself - like a bottle of vintage champagne or a white truffle or whatever is his bag.

Personalised beer/wine with a name like Mr Doodlejumps Ale and his photo on the label.

a voucher for an experience - Not on the High Street have a whole section that includes very random things.

A subscription to eg a craft whisky site - a new interesting bottle every other month.

3luckystars · 10/11/2019 19:01

What did he buy you for the last birthday or Christmas?

Howies (googl) is a lovely clothing company that specialises in biking and has some lovely fun clothes

There's a company who make metal sculptures ranging from professions to hobbies and as your husband is a keen mountain bike rider it might be something he would appreciate.

The sculptures are not massive, just small "ornaments" but are hard made and I am pretty sure I have seen one of a man with a bike for about £40. It would be something different but equally something which ties in with a hobbie he likes.

Steelman24, they are also on Amazon. I have bought one of my family the metal dectectorist sculpture, it was about £35 I think.

Hand made, not "hard made".
