Gift ideas for teenagers

juicy0 · 05/11/2019 20:50

I've been reading lots of threads here with some fabulous ideas for younger children but I could really do with some ideas for teens. I have a DS 14 and DD 18 and whilst I found it easy to buy presents for them when they were younger I find it more difficult now. It's particularly hard to find those perfect little surprise gifts that used to make their faces light up.
Any ideas please?

would they enjoy tickets to something, maybe a sports event or a show? I am looking to get dd15 tickets to see a west end show next year, and a cinema pass too as she is mad on marvel and new films are coming out.

Driving experience? Merlin passes?

juicy0 · 05/11/2019 21:57

@sleepismysuperpower1 show tickets is a lovely gift idea, we did Hamilton last year, I'll have a look and see what's on this year though.
@Jaffacakebeast DS would definitely enjoy a driving experience, I'll have a look on groupon as they often have them, thank you. We live too far away from anywhere to use merlin passes!

Is your dd a girly girl ? I have a dd 18 and I could buy and buy for her

juicy0 · 05/11/2019 22:22

@pumpkinpie01 what do you mean by girly girl? She likes jewellery, clothes, movies, perfume but isn't that fussed about make up/nails really although has shown more interest lately.

Lush bath bombs.
Walking over the O2 in London experience.
Trip to Go Ape!
Fancy headphones.
Flying in a wind tunnel experience. We went to Xscape in Milton Keynes, but I know there are others throughout the UK.

A bracelet from Bloom Boutique or INKA for your daughter? They do some beautiful stacking bracelets etc.

Sass&Belle do really pretty items for teen girls, have a browse.

Bit of an alternative suggestion but what about a few Christmas decorations of their own? If you did 3-5 each year then once they move out they'd have a lovely collection.

Teens are tricky. I'm getting dd 15 a mini fridge for her room this year as she spends so much time in there! Grin

sleepismysuperpower1 · 06/11/2019 11:58

historysock · 06/11/2019 11:58
