Gift ideas for my mum

My mum is just lovely but I really struggle with what to get her for Xmas. She is late 50s, has no hobbies and never knows what she wants other than slippers and pj's which my sil always has covered. She is the type of person who would give you her last pound and never treats herself. My dad always buys her perfume so don't want to go down that route.

Theatre tickets have been popular in the past but other than that she's not really into experiences.

She likes the wildlife in her garden but not actual gardening.

I bought her Wellibobs for her birthday which went down well

I just want to get her something special and lovely like her really, budget around £50 - 60 pounds

Oh and I've already got her a photo Calender of dds

Thanks

Manicure/facial voucher
Afternoon tea voucher
Wheatybags (alternative to hot water bottles and perfect for keeping cosy in winter or soothing aches and pains and safe to take to bed)
Magazine subscription

A nice purse and bag - My mum loved the Ness ones we got her.

Woodwick candles - I know candles sound a bit of a crap present but they are lovely and cosy when they make the crackling noise.

Would she like a voucher for afternoon tea with you?

A nice hamper of all the favourite foods she likes but doesn't always buy?

Oh and good luck! I loooove my wheatybags

Heated throw blanket. They plug in and are super cheap to run this type www.argos.co.uk/product/7074572

Does she watch a lot of TV? Could you pay for a Netflix subscription?

I am late 50s and would love a voucher for a beauty salon for a massage or a facial. Love a bit of pampering but wouldn't ever buy them for myself. But not everyone likes that sort of thing. I'd also enjoy afternoon tea, a collection of lovely toiletries, magazine subscription, costume jewellery, anything to wear 'going out' like a top or jumper. Can't ever have enough bags.

Pressed post too soon... gin or the ingredients for cocktails

Throwing in a complete wild card .....how about a Birds of Prey Experience if there's one nearby

LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone · 04/11/2019 20:22

If she likes wildlife in her garden how about a bird feeding station? And an insect bug house? Bird house? Bird bath?
I'm in my early 50's and would be more than happy with these.

National trust membership? Delicious magazine subscription? Spa day with afternoon tea for you and her (cheap deals on Groupn). Seasalt shawl scarf.

Lovely new dressing gown to go with the slippers & pjs? (I'm 50, so a bit younger, but would be very happy with a new dressing gown, sort of thing I can never quite justify buying for myself. )

Day out a nearby NT (or similar) venue with a good garden and afternoon tea there.

ysmaem · 04/11/2019 23:43

My mother is 50 and I'm getting her a hemp gift set from the body shop, a salt rock lamp and a very quirky, colourful handbag

Woodlandwitch · 05/11/2019 11:50

National trust membership?

Wilma55 · 05/11/2019 11:54

Something spending time with you - better than any £££

WagtailRobin · 05/11/2019 12:04

If she likes the wildlife in her garden, how about a bird bath or feeding station and some bird feed, maybe with a little book on all the different types of birds?

asterix2000 · 05/11/2019 14:01

I got my mum a fingerprint charm of DS from Moment in Time Jewellery
