Anyone already looking for a wreath?

I'd love a lovely medium sized wreath this year but not finding anything nice yet.
Has anyone already bought one or on the lookout too?

I'd love one that's quite plain but not boring and definitely festive! We don't have a big door so just a medium sized one would do great.
Not sure where to look as I'm hoping to spend 30 or less...

Garden centres are usually my best bet x

I got one on the Cox and Cox website with their £20 off a £25 spend. So mine was £30 but got it for £10! Bargin

Do you want a real one? Only I saw lots of local courses and adult education day courses teaching you how to make your own last year and they’re starting to pop up again this year. I did one a couple of years ago and paid around £40 but can now make my own for free (I do live very near the countryside though)

@Milkfreemoomum where can I find this code please? Thanks

Here is my link. You get 20 off and I do too if you use it. I'm after some stocking holders so would be very grateful Smile

That Cox and Cox wreath has to be brought inside if it rains Shock. I nearly bought it, but not keen to spend the Christmas holidays removing and rehanging a wreath.

Milkfreemoomum · 04/10/2019 19:43

Does it? It's plastic and wood? Can't see why it would need to come in?

MoonlightBonnet · 04/10/2019 19:45

If you click on ‘’size and info’ it says about bringing it inside in inclement weather!

Every year I buy a real wreath in Morrisons for about £8. It has a tacky ribbon and a couple of sprayed cones on it.

When I get home I cut the ribbon and cons off and then I add a really lovely piece of ribbon then tie/wire little baubles on it that I have bought are perhaps put up in from Tiger/the pound shop/in Wilco's or somewhere and personalise it - usually takes me less than an hour to do the whole thing really beautifully and looks fab and believe me I'm not artistic in any way at all.

Ooh have you ańy pics @BeaLola ?

@Milkfreemoomum thanks! I'll be using it in the next couple of days

BeaLola · 05/10/2019 14:21

No sorry I don't - tbh it looks very nice each year - postie and neighbours ask where's it from (as in a that's lovely kind of way rather than needing to know which shop to avoid Grin)

Morrison's do the basic wreaths every year usually from End of Nov .

One of my neighbour always has an amazing fresh wreath - eg the ones wher you use moss that she does herself but she spends about £100 doing it and I'm not wanting you spend that kind of money ( I save that gif buying io Malone candles !)

ShootTheRunner · 05/10/2019 14:36

I'm going to make my own this year, I've never had one and I want one! My garden has a lot of shrubbery and there's a big holly tree just down the road so I'm having a go. Will probably look like a toddler did it but I fancy having a go

Ocado have a few.

www.ocado.com/browse/christmas-267265/decorations-267236/for-the-home-267229

But they're pricey here:

There's a few nice ones here which aren't too pricey.
