What could I get my 7 month old daughter for Christmas?!

Shamelessly asking for suggestions as I’m stumped! She’s got a 2 and a half year old brother so we’ve got all the usual baby toys and shape sorters, jumparoo etc. Just have no clue what to get her while I’ve got a list for her brother!!

Honestly I would rewrap and recycle some of the gifts that you gave to your oldest child - that's what I did otherwise I'd have had a mountain of plastic toys in the house.

My DD was 6 months old last Christmas. Older brother and sister. I mainly bought her clothes and books and also a plate and bowl set...basically stuff I would have to buy anyway as she gets older. I did a stocking that had things like bubble bath, weaning spoons, drinking cup, a fruit purée pouch, bibs and also little wooden letters spelling her name to go on her bedroom door.

Honestly at that age I would just get her stuff she'll need.

It's hard at that age as they want to put everything in their mouth! How about a wooden click clack car set? Or some bath toys? A soft teddy (with non removable bits). I know it's plastic, but megablocks are good and can usually be sold on when finished with. Also "that's not my" and other touchy feely books are good at that age

Also agree stuff that they just need is good - they just like the wrapping paper to be honest! Save some pennies for when she is older. I know they need something tounwrap though, otherwise the older sibling woukd think it odd (the youngest won't care! )

Don’t get her much

Books
Clothes
Maybe a soft dolly
Bath toys

Ace suggestions, thanks! Need to fight the urge to buy heaps of stuff as you’re all right that she doesn’t really need much. Thanks for the links and the suggestion of a name thing for her door - been meaning to get one of those!

My eldest had her first Christmas at that age the only thing she was interested on the day was a spoon from a feeding set!

I would get her a nice book or cuddly so you can say that was your first Xmas present when she asks. Like my eldest does.

I’m in the same situation. I bought a ‘That’s not my donkey’ book from Aldi last week. I was thinking, baby food and toothbrushes.

Large cardboard box full of balloons. Ideally large enough to be crawled into and turned into a den.

I am definitely going to do this!
