What do you eat on Christmas Day?

Last year I ended up spending around 5 hours of Christmas Day in the kitchen. This year I don't want a repeat. I'm happy hosting as the alternatives are complicated. I don't want to go to my mum's as my dad died last year and I can't imagine Christmas in her house without him. My Mil is happy to cook but my mum won't go to her's for Christmas. Plus Mil cooks a big family meal on Boxing Day for everyone as some of dh's siblings go their inlaws for Christmas so don't really want her to cook twice.

We do a big picnic under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve before the Christingle service and we usually have bacon sandwiches on Christmas morning.

What can I cook that won't take hours and won't leave huge amounts of leftovers since we'll be away for a couple of days after Christmas but still looks/tastes/smells Christmassy?

I buy everything pre-prepared and just chuck it in the oven.

This year my DSS is with us for Christmas Eve through til midday on Christmas Day so we are having our big dinner on Christmas Eve with me, DH, DSS, DS and MIL. On Christmas Day it will just be me, DH and DS(3) for dinner so we are having steak and chips. DS will have a gammon steak.

My son's with his dad this year xmas day so on xmas eve we will have a mini roast dinner with sausages and veg cos he's not a fan of most meat.

My boyfriend is pescatarian so I think we will probably have a prawn cocktail xmas day, and see if there's a nice no fuss meal deal we can get to feed the 2 of us. (Last year Tesco did a great mushroom cranberry kinda pie he had which was lush). We may or may not be going to my parents for nibbles and stuff in the afternoon. Again cos it's just the two of them I don't think we will go crazy with a big meal

I love a baileys in my coffee on Christmas morning but I've had to skip it for a few years because of being pregnant or having newborns.
But this year I'm going to have a wine the night before (crazy bitch)
And my Baileys coffee first thing.
Can't wait 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I bloody love Christmas 🎄
