Just going through my lists and realised that all the food I have planned for Christmas Day is very adult focused ie canapés, Christmas pudding or Baileys pavlova for dessert which isn't really suitable for DC age 2 and 6!!

They love a roast dinner so that's fine but what else can I make for nibbles and dessert that DC will love?

What festive recipes are you making that young children will enjoy?

And of course mini sausage rolls!
To be honest, I never did canapés with my DC in mind when they were very small because I knew they needed to save as much room as possible for the Christmas dinner... it's usually quite a lot for little tummies. And they had probably already eaten all of the chocolate coins from their stocking!

That's a good point about eating the chocolate coins! I suppose I just felt guilty that I'm putting a lot of thought into adult menus and hadn't considered them at all, food wise! But I'm sure they are going to be too busy playing with new toys to eat much any way!
