Best mince pies (shop bought)

Where can I find the best supermarket mince pies? I've tried the Morrisons ones, no thanks.

Just had a sainsburys taste the difference all butter one and that's definitely the best so far.

My mums homemade ones are always my favourite but I'm not a great baker so it's easier to get some in for when people are round.

Only got a Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury's and M&S around here for reference.

I was really impressed with the waitrose gluten free mince pies. I'd bought them for my nephew, but clearly couldn't let him eat them all... Wasn't expecting much, but they were brilliant!. Way way better than Mr kipling's version.

Iceland luxury ones are lovely.
Aldi sloe gin ones are disgusting.

Tesco finest mini boxed ones. Delist and just the right size so you don't feel too awful when you've eaten three Grin

Best ones this year were Morrison's bakery ones (in the clear packet, not a box). Best boxed so far are Asda expensive ones with Aldi expensive ones in second place - but my personal fav are the almond ones from Aldi, just not as traditional.

Not mince pies, but we tried Aldi’s almond and hazelnut chocolate Florentines today and they are yummy! Getting another box for the Christmas spread!

Sainsbury's taste the difference mini ones are always our choice.
Working our way through a box of M&S ones at the moment and they're pretty good.
Aldi ones were dire. Pastry was too thick and the filling left a weird, bitter, mouth drying taste.

Sainsbury Bakery shortcrust (not the puff pastry)
Sainsburys TTD Mini ones second , nice tang of brandy.

I tried the Greggs ones , too overcooked but DH liked them.
