ideas for teenage nieces

We have four teenage (13-16) nieces and need suggestions in the £10-£15 range. We won't be seeing them this Christmas so anything we buy will need to be posted. Any suggestions please? Don't want to get anything too old/young. Thanks

Gift set from lush they seem to be popular with teens.

Ask their parents? Teenagers are pretty different, tbh it's like buying for an adult & you do need to know their likes/interests

In your budget thinking of things my 16 y/o dd would like - a book token (or specific books), ink, good notebook, drawing paper, nice chocolates, bamboo or other nicer-than-usual socks. (I suspect a gift set from Lush would just sit unopened in her room.)

If I were you I would get vouchers for cinema/ costa / Waterstones/ boots.

Thank you for the suggestions, very much appreciated. You have definitely helped 🙂

Do they live anywhere near a branch of Kiko? they do great makeup, that is cheap as chips so even for a tenner you can get a stash of stuff. great colours too. my nieces love it.

Or go to a shop doing a Bogof or three for two, helps with the budget!

Meant to say get vouchers from kiko!

My SIL has asked what my DD (almost 15) would like, same price range.
DD has asked for Body Shop or Top Shop vouchers.
I would personally stay away from makeup unless you know for certain which brand they use, as my DD would only use certain brands.

Precious gem studs? You can find them gift boxed and around £15 on ebay/etsy etc?

Notcontent · 09/12/2018 23:10

I would go for gift cards. Not all teens are into make up or Lush (which is horribly overpriced anyway).

I would either ask their parents for some specific suggestions or send a cheque/voucher. I know it's nicer to send a present but could be a complete waste of money. As you can see from differences of opinions on this thread!!
