Can anyone give me an idiots guide to this? Wondering if it’d be any good for ds (12) . He likes his console and phone etc but hasn’t done coding other than at school and I’m clueless so wouldn’t be much help.

Can anyone advise what you do with them? How hard they are to use? Which ones best?

Thank you!

Pi zero or Pi Zero W can be a good starting point, along with an Essential Pi Zero Kit, a Pi Zero or Zero W case, usb hub and maybe a Cam Jam Edu Kit.

I've bought several bits and pieces from the Pi Hut, although also a few via Ebay and Amazon if prices were better.

Leave your son to figure it all out, it's part of the fun.

What do you use it for?

They can do anything a computer can but just not as powerful. They are a great way to learn about technology and get really hands on with it.

You can connect them to a TV or Monitor. You can plug in a keyboard and mouse too. If you want to do that go for one the size of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B - it has more USB ports.
