Looking to get a present for my friend‘s sons. I’m planning on spending about £10 or so each. Any ideas would be really appreciated!

I've found with my DS (just turned 4) and a lot of of his nursery friends, that anything Marvel, Paw Patrol or PJ Masks themed and you can't go wrong.
Look at somewhere like The Entertainer, plenty of options for a tenner and under there, often you'll even find that the prices are cheaper than supermarkets.

Great thank you both!

Usborne 'wind up train book'? I have just given one to a three year old and he was thrilled.

Books, either factual which a lot of early readers enjoy or fiction that can be read to them. Usborne are great for those ages I think though you can often get them cheaper elsewhere

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. Have ordered a Paw Patrol floor puzzle and a torch projector. Also had never heard of The Entertainer website so thanks for the tip!

Oh damn you've already ordered - I was going to say I'd avoid character stuff - they're a good chance that if they're into it they'll already have it, and if they're not into it, it'll mean nothing (I have similar age DS's with encyclopaedic knowledge of Thomas trains but wouldn't have a clue about Paw Patrol).

Personally if I'm not sure I go for a parent-pleaser (e.g books or a mildly educational game). Orchard Toys games are good.

I really wouldn't worry about this. There's tonnes of paw patrol merchandise out there. They won't have more than a small amount. A floor puzzle sounds great.

And I've yet to come across a 4 year old who isn't into paw patrol.

My 5 year old wants marbles and hotwheels for Christmas.
