We use our slow cooker.

Usually make it on the hob and out it in the cooker when done. They some creak, marshmallows, choc sauce set up near it so kids can decide what they want on top.

Something like this ?

Slow cooker and glass bowls or jars with things like candy canes, chic, marsh mallows then some squirty cream and sauces too. Don't over think it :)

Pound land is your friend here.

They do little trays, slate you could use chalk to write a messages. Cute little holders act

Found similar on eBay for £7.49, free postage.

Several tiers I wouldn't do, too unstable and risky with kids.
Just a tray with edges, or big round cake tin, with washed out jam jars for the various bits (marshmallows go hard if not covered). Cocoa shaker would be nice! Make a simple sign (white pen on kraft paper or cardboard perhaps? Nice & rustic) and stick in a standing picture frame next to the tray.

Agree a tray with sides not something tiered which would all come crashing down several times

thanks for all the replys i will look into the tray idea. thanks
