Favourite Day of Christmas

Hi all
I'm starting to get organised for Christmas and I was talking to a colleague today and we were discussing what day was our favourite day of Christmas.
I think it's that feeling on Christmas Eve when everything is done and the shops are shut and it's all ready! Hers was Boxing day!
Which is your favourite day?

I’m going to go against the grain and say. Christmas Day itself! Dd’s are 4 and 8 and it’s such a great age, we’ve all been ill this last week so hopefully that’s done and dusted until after Xmas, waking up with their excited little faces Saying “he’s been, he’s really been!” Opening Stockings, and one or two presents under the tree... going round to my mum and dads and meeting up with my brother, sil and sister, having the most delicious (and huge) Christmas dinner, then all clubbing in together to do the washing up;
Opening the tree presents after dinner, and getting more excitement all over again, seeing who got the best knitted jumper from great grandpa, and who got the token lynx set, then turkey sandwiches and we set about the chocolates. Prosecco and bucksfizz all through the day followed by games and silliness until we all find somewhere to bed down for the night!!

I'm going for Christmas Day, I do a lot of prepping in advance, I have lists of lists of things to do. After all that hard work I am happy to sit back and enjoy the magic on the day itself. All my hard work has paid off and I can relax and enjoy myself!

Ah thank you x I've been on a ward with the same lady for a week and she's lovely, but shes leaving on Monday so I think it will be forever changing...fingers crossed people are just as nice- (always got my iPad tho- Netflix binges.....)
Plus always got to be prepared that baby might make an earlier arrival (I keep getting told)...hope she stays put for a few more weeks tho x
