Giving food as gifts?

If you give food as gifts, e.g. you've baked cookies, how do you present it to the other person? Do you just put them in a standard Tupperware box and wrap them up?

We were given some homemade biscuits once and they put them in a glass jar thingy (from Ikea)with a label tied on which looked very nice.

Home made cardboard boxes or small Christmas tins that make their way back to me every year.

Poundland or amazon do little cello bags, i got some with candy cane print, they come with ribbon to tie too and you can dress up to make it more fancy

Cello bags tied with real ribbon (not that foil stuff) or purpose made cardboard box with viewing window. Making it look pretty is half the gift. Wrapped up Tupperware sounds a bit boring!

I'd be delighted to get homemade treats in wrapped up Tupperware, I'm always looking to add to my Tupperware collection Grin
