That's plenty. She won't know about Christmas

Isn’t that enough at 8 months, why do you feel you have to spend more money.?

PotteringAlong · 19/11/2018 17:45

Just wrap up stuff like nappies so that DD1 thinks that Santa has been!

My eldest is 2 and 9 months and she will wonder why she has more presents than her baby sister

Really Hmm your older DD will be carefully monitoring her sister’s presents, I honestly doubt it, and if she really is so observant surely you can just say that as she is so young she doesn’t need so many presents. You could say something like ‘when you were 8 months you just received a few presents’.

But I can’t believe how seriously you are taking this - or why I am even bothering to respond Confused.

Your older child isn’t even 3. I highly doubt she will notice how many presents her sister has. And if she does, you can tell her that as she is a baby she doesn’t need many presents.

I doubt either of your Dds will care how many presents you've got them... At their ages, they'll be more interested in the wrapping paper

Be sure to buy a large block or box of your favourite chocolate, you needn't wrap it up.

When things get tough over the holiday, eat some of it.

The best present you can give them is a smiling cheerful Mummy!
