Unicorn writting set
A fluffy onesie
Unicorn poo slime
Unicorn and llama pooing keyring
Llama squishy
Llama craftset
Fluffy pjs
Eeyore disney store cuddly
Selection box
Choclate coins

Is there anything i can add?

We bulk out stockings with a dressing gown every year as ours is more like a sack.

Cheap xmassy mug with hot chocolate marshmallows chocolate spoons.

Box of cereal they are not usually allowed

Bath crayons, bubble bath

Face paints

Book

Stickers

One of those pens with lots of colours and you push down to get the colour you want

All sorts of stuff from flying tiger

Chocolate letter of their name from hema.

Lego friends keyring for book bag or zips on coats

Bobbles and hairbands, h and m had some fun ones

Happy families card game

Unicorn (or llama) story book.
Character bubble bath.
Glittery bath bomb (Lush).
Character tooth brush.
Unicorn knickers and vest.

livingthegoodlife · 14/11/2018 21:04

I think you have loads! Mine has a new water bottle in, Polly pocket, chocolate orange, Christmas activity book, tube of smarties, magic sponges, bubble bath. Not much else I don't think.

Nicpem1982 · 14/11/2018 21:13

We dont have a bath unfortunately Grin

Maybe some unicorn shower gel.

Its quite a big stocking as its all santa brings her

So is this her 'stocking' presents or just her 'presents'? Sounds plenty for a four year old . Maybe add an annual/book/comic.

Nicpem1982 · 14/11/2018 21:28

Stocking presents

We have some similar ideas to you plus:

Character cake mix
Playmobil blind bags
Cress seeds
Jelly (to make)
Toothbrush
Socks and pants
Temporary tattoos

CrispbuttyNo1 · 14/11/2018 21:43

That sounds like plenty for just a stocking!

Isadora2007 · 14/11/2018 21:45

It sounds like a lovely stocking.
(And where did you get your llama squishy please?)

Leeds2 · 14/11/2018 21:58

Character cake mix is a fab idea, 2isabell2! If my DD wasn't 20, I would've stolen it!

1stTimeMama · 14/11/2018 22:03

Mine each have a magazine or book, blind bag, small toy, piece of chocolate, fruit, drink carton, pants and socks.

Just enough to entertain them until I actually want to get up!

Nicpem1982 · 14/11/2018 22:03

Isadora the works

It's not a stocking without a chocolate orange!

Rolled up magazine or a picture book to hopefully be looked up when she wakes up before waking everyone else up?

babywipessolveanything · 14/11/2018 22:06

It all sounds lovely but it sounds like a LOT. Why are you trying to add stuff for the sake of it when you says they're "only stocking presents"? At 4 years old YOU set the expectation so why are you setting it so high? There'll be plenty more years for that when influence from friends/tv etc. kicks in.

ragnarsgirl · 14/11/2018 22:11

Sounds like a lot! Mine are 7 and 3 and are getting a book, a small toy and a chocolate Santa in their stocking. I have to be careful with mine though. They are easily over stimulated by 'stuff'

Nicpem1982 · 14/11/2018 22:14

Baby- i want to add to it as i like her stocking full with a mix of useful and fun/novelty bits and bobs and was looking for ideas for additions

Things like the pjs and onesie are things she needs and the stationary is to encourage her to continue to practise her writing as shes just started to show an interest and we want to encourage that by giving her some funky stationary

Weve cut down on the present buying this year after a few years of over buying and things getting wasted.

Well it all sounds lovely. I always got new socks and knickers in my stocking which now....as an adult...seems a bit of an odd gift to get from Santa but it never seemed weird at the time. Blush

What about an accessory or piece of equipment for a hobby? Unicorn towel for swimming for example?

speakfriendandenter · 14/11/2018 22:22

New flannel and/or shower puff
Mini whiteboard & pens
Nice post its
Hair bobbles/clips
CD
Gloves, hat, scarf

I love the cereal idea a PP suggested, cake mixes too!

Hideandgo · 14/11/2018 22:22

On what planet is 11 presents not enough for a 4 yr old. The world is really messed up.

But I’m answer to your question, maybe some bath stuff or a cool toothbrush. There are very reasonable electric brushes that mine love.

chocahoop · 14/11/2018 22:30

Was your stocking half full as a child?

Hideandgo · 14/11/2018 22:41

I’d say there was about 3 or 4 things in my stocking and a mandarin. I wouldn’t have noticed how full, it was multiple presents!!! It was fucking exciting without needing to fill a sofa.

chocahoop · 15/11/2018 05:55

Oh calm down with the competitive frugality. If she can afford it then why not? I'm sure there's lots of things you spend money on that other people would think was wasteful or pointless.

liquidrevolution · 15/11/2018 06:07

Our Santa always brings a book and bubble bath, other than that your sack looks just like my DDs.

Fwiw get a smaller sack. Will make life easier as your DD gets older and presents get smaller and more expensive. We have a stocking and anything that doesn't fit gets left beside it.

marmaladecats · 15/11/2018 06:26

My 4 year old son has got
A rain stick thing
A duck noise maker
A bag of gold marbles for his marble run
Bath crayons
A fun toothbrush holder that attaches to the mirror
Giant balloon
Choc coins and a box of tiny candy canes
New socks
Will prob look at tiger and get a few more fun things.
Luckily for me he’s not into any branded stuff yet so no bloody paw patrol etc crap!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 15/11/2018 07:21

Various blind bags/boxes. Toysforapound has loads. In fact they have lots of great toys, I've got dds some lovely presents. Not your usual pound shop tat!!

Plastic cup with a straw in (we get new ones each year as they either get dropped or go manky), school water bottle, cute lunch boxes (dd1 has pusheen, dd2 pugs), swimming goggles, wind up toys.

Second flying tiger they have great bits in there. I'm avoiding as I have enough stocking fillers so don't want to be tempted 🤣
