I have 3 teenage children ds(19), dd (16) and dd (13). Would like to get them a subscription box each but not beauty related.

Any suggestions?

My Mum has a baking subscription, you get the ingredients and recipes through the post each month. I think that they would be suitable for your Teens, my DN (15) has made a few of them and enjoyed it.

Treatbox or Boxcitement have gone done well with my nieces

If they like Harry Potter then i'd recommend Gobstone Alley who do fantastic gift boxes. They're expensive unfortunately but are large enough to divvy up the contents if needed.

There are lots of wonderful book subscriptions for teens - we get FairyLoot between us (me, dd13 &dd8); I share the books with the eldest and youngest gets something appropriate from the treats. I see it as an investment for the younger one too as we're big readers and she'll pick them up when she's ready. FairyLoot tends to be fantasy books; Wildest Dreams, which we've also tried, is more contemporary (real life/issues) YA. You get all sorts of goodies on a theme related to the book - candles, soap and tea tend to be in most boxes, we've had a water bottle, banners, key rings, a wax seal, badges, cushion cover, jewellery...all sorts. And certainly with FairyLoot the books are often special edition hardbacks - sprayed edges, sometimes signed, sometimes different cover art.

If you look on Instagram lots of book bloggers do unboxing - Xenatine, for example, though I'm mot sure if the subs she gets are US only. Worth a look as some of them post discount codes.

I get Wildest Dreams which is a young adult fiction book box. A book, some tea, and other themed items every month.

The blurt box is awesome, DW bought if for me for a year. However, we had issue after issue with them not taking the payment then saying we weren't getting the box, even though we had a rolling subscription, suddenly refusing payment methods they took the month before, cancelling the subscription without contacting us.. I gave up in the end. Shame because I loved the content.

Some great suggestions. Really like the idea of a baking subscription for dd2 as she loves making cakes. And stationery would be great for dd1 too. Will check the others out now.

Geeky stitching club for cross stitchers is fun. Also easy enough for beginners

These all sound fab.
