The three films you watch every year?

For us it's always
Elf
Muppet Christmas Carol
Arthur Christmas

We always make time to watch at least these 3 throughout December.

And always Prep and Landing on Christmas Eve Smile

TheCountryGirl, I haven't heard if any of those??

And I'm ashamed to say I've never seen The Nightmare before Christmas 🙈
I'm definately adding that to my must watch this year.

Elf
Muppets Christmas Carol
Miracle on 34th Street

Love, Actually ( for me )
These are our essential Christmas Dvds but we will then watch any Christmas film that comes on the TV!

EdinaMonsoon · 31/10/2018 18:01

Love Actually was totally ruined for me last year when I realised that every female character in it fits into 1 of 2 categories: either sweet, put-upon woman or sexy young thing. Utterly depressing. There's no going back for me now.

As a family:
Elf
Home Alone
Christmas with the Kranks

For me:
Meet Me in St Louis (Judy Garland singing "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" gets me every time)
The Holiday (despite Jack Black)
It's a Wonderful Life

EdinaMonsoon · 31/10/2018 18:02

And I think the "Daddy's Home" movies have potential to become annual seasonal favourites.

Omgineedanamechange · 31/10/2018 18:09

Love actually
The Santa clause
Miracle on 34th street

susurration · 31/10/2018 18:18

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 31/10/2018 20:14

stayathomer · 31/10/2018 21:53

Elf, Home Alone and a family movie that has Danny Devito trying to get one up on his neighbour with Christmas lights. Honestly cannot think of the name ... Jingle all the way?

Thirtyrock39 · 31/10/2018 22:02

Nativity- all 3 films though will put as one
Father Christmas Raymond Briggs (not as sad as the snowman)
For me when wrapping presents it's always When Harry Met Sally (lots of festive bits)
I think Elf is well over rated
