Why are there so many little bits for girls but not boys?

Please help with litttle bits for boys age 5, 7 and 8.

Girls are so easy. I have got tonnes of little bits but there doesn't seem to be much stuff for boys that isn't just crap they won't really like.

Any suggestions? !

Try toys for a pound website, I've picked up loads from there for my DS

Following as I have a almost 7yo DS (& nearly 5 DD).

So far my list for DS is
Top trumps
Science or ‘how things work’ sort of book
Super hero shower gel
Fidget spinner
Lego
Electric toothbrush (he’s been wanting one every time we see them in the supermarket)
New ‘cool’ lunchbox for school

Other things we’ve already got that seem to be winners:
Slinky
Rubik’s cube
Cool bookmark
Pokemon, roblox & minecraft characters

Blind bags, Lego mini figures, stationery, poster money joke things, fidget toys, keyring, mini torch, bath bomb, flannel or sponge, bath foam soap, bath toys, magnets, spy gear, sports accessories

Joke book, bubble bath, expanding flannel, marbles, torch, bath crayons, coloured pens... I have to say that I don’t think I buy very different stuff for girls! The boys in my life also enjoy stationery, glitter slime, books, craft stuff and even hair accessories!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Advent Calender
Match Attack advent calendar
Match Attack Mega tins
Smiggle Drinks Bottle -boys
Chemistry Set - we have Beaker Creatures
Harry Potter items- I’m thinking of getting Mattel Albus Dumbledore
Top Trumps
ScoobyDoo
Star Wars (Force Link, Mighty Muggs, Plush toys)
Stretch

I normally visit an outdoors style store and buy a load of little things for my son (7 this year). Hits have included tiny little torches, those climbing clips (I forget the name, but metal and they use for hanging things from their bags) basically any kind of outdoorsy gadget.
He also loves stuff from the joke store - fake thumbs, those fortune telling fish, mini magic tricks with instructions, a fake poo!
Then he loves stuff he wouldn’t be allowed, and I tut about naughty Santa - chewing gum (really delighted with that one), a can of real coke.
Also traditional toys are a hit - bouncy balls, yo-yos, fold up telescope.
I find him easier than my daughter to be honest.

I generally get the same ‘little things’ for DS as DD: stationery, Top Trumps, yo-yo, Shopkins, stickers, those monsters you put on the end of your finger etc. I would tend to look in Tiger, Claire’s Accessories and Hawkin’s Bazaar.

My local Home Bargains have boxed traditional toys 99p - £1.99 - Jack's, Dominoes, Gyroscope, Harmonica - they make fantastic stocking fillers for boys and girls.

Look at Tiger if there is one near you, got some great stocking bits so far.

Slime, giant playing cards, magnetic travel games. I've also picked a half price Lego Ninjago sticker book from B&M and a Mario Kart car for £3 from Home Bargains.

Agree with other poster, Home Bargains has lots of cheap traditional games like dominoes, glider planes, Jenga, ring toss, wind up toys.

Also look at craft bits too, B&M do lots of great sets and a fake Hobbycraft names range for all the supplies.
