Every year is a struggle with my father. Usually I get him some t shirts, but he's having a weight related op soon so that's not a good idea.

Budget £20

  • hates sports
  • doesn't read books
  • doesn't watch dvds more than once/doesn't like dramas or much on TV anyway
  • doesn't drink tea
  • isn't keen on ornaments, pictures, or candles
  • doesn't bother with pjs, slippers or a dressing gown
  • doesn't have baths
  • isn't keen on contemporary music

I'm stuck.

What about packing cubes or some other handy travel accessory? Muji have a good range.

I’d get him nothing. What’s the point in scrabbling around for things he might like. What a waste!

I thought the go to present for hard to buy for men on MN was a lock picking training set?

Whoah! I have never heard of these. Sounds good for DH's stocking. Are there any really good ones?

My father only ever asked for 'peace & quiet'. Imagine my joy the year i found a cd of whale type music call, yes, peace and quiet. Curiosly, he also like to get the whole family together for Christmas, or thereabouts.
