Cracking open the prosecco because I am done!
All presents bought and wrapped. Food ordered and cards written.
Feel like sticking the decorations up to celebrate.

If you’ve bought and wrapped it all now don’t that kind of take the fun away from it all when it’s actually Christmas time? We’ve only just finished summer!

I don’t know. I’m nowhere near as organised as the OP and will be mainly doing mine in December but I can see the appeal in having it all done and dusted before December so you can spend the month doing ‘fun’ Christmas things (like ice skating, Christmas markets, drinking mulled wine, Christmas parties etc) without having to faff around with shopping and wrapping.

I’ve bought th box of Celebrations and Heroes. And a couple of Xmas candles for me. That’s it.

And I go to Australia mid Nov and am not back till early December.

But there are only 3 of us for Xmas probably , poss 4 if MIL comes. Won’t know that till nearer the time as she is having major heart surgery next week and might not feel up to travelling to us.

I should at least start thinking about it all I suppose........

Almost finished with DH’s presents. Picked up a scarf today and will get his fav expensive shower gel on Thursday.

I can’t buy the Christmas chocolates now, there would be none left by December 1st if I do.

Inspired by you OP, I wrapped my first presents last. Then ordered yet more gift tags because none of those ones I have quite go with the wrapping paper I used... I also desperately need/want some tartan paper but am hoping I can just pick it up in one of the supermarkets.

hmmwhatatodo I can’t speak for the OP but it doesn’t take the fun away from Christmas for me. As I posted I’ve finished shopping (just waiting for DH to wrap), I love Christmas and the buying and wrapping presents isn’t part of the Christmas magic for me. I have mobility issues and GAD so a crowded shop is my idea of a worst nightmare and so I do all of my shopping online, that has taken more of the fun out of it for me tbh.
