I don't normally do 'home scent' of any description however I fancy trying a festive reed diffuser this Christmas but it needs to be a subtle fragrance - nothing too heavy or overpowering.

I was mooching on the Next website earlier and they had a few but I thought I'd ask for personal recommendations.

(No candles or plug-ins please Smile)

Next had a nice one last year think it was the festive spice one. Lasted well and just gave a subtle scent. I think theyre quite reasonably priced too.

Would you consider using an oil blend rather than a reeed diffuser as it would give you more control over the strength of the scent?
Tisserand do a good winter selection so you might find one you like. I just put a drop of oil on the back of the radiator now and then for a very subtle scent because I find smellies a bit over powering.

M&S for Christmas reed diffusers, best to pick the scent yourself though, I always go for the sweet/cinnamon ones. Tried Next last year and had to put it away after a day as it was giving me a headache but that might just be me!

If you are having guests beware- my DD has eczema and any kind of diffuser really sets it off.

I like Winter from The White Company

I like the tesco own reed diffusers last Christmas. I had the red one and green one, can't remember the scent names, but they were very nice and not too strong.

Thanks for all the suggestions. A few places that I hadn't thought about looking.

@Alanamackree I hadn't thought about using an oil, I'll have a look.

@Bridezilla2be I did wonder about that which is why I was after a subtle one. I guess if I find it too overpowering I can just pop the lid back on and open the windows Smile
