As above really. Any ideas? They are my sibling's children who are at my house about half the week and I'd like to get them something they can do when they're here- so something activity based. Not a wii/xbox/etc. Totally out of ideas. All three kids are very active and love to play outside. Thanks!

Trampoline?

keyboardjellyfish · 06/09/2018 23:04

Not really space for one, I live in a block of flats with a shared garden so don't want to take up too much space out the back unfortunately

A cinema hamper, cinema voucher, popcorn, sweets etc...?

Table tennis set - if you have a big enough table?

PandaG · 06/09/2018 23:33

Baking/cooking stuff? Bun cases, food colouring, biscuit cutters, cake decorations, piping bag and nozzles, aprons etc. The little one will be able to help weigh and mix, and spread icing on and put small sweets/ decorations on, the older 2 may well be able to do a bit of piping etc. I did similar smaller sets as birthday presents for DD's friends at about 8, and again for others at about 13, and it went down very well.

Outdoor climbing frame type thing?

imip · 07/09/2018 06:25

Last year for similar aged 4 dc, I did an assortment of indoor games. With that age range and a 4yo, I’d include a bingo, dobble, uno and perhaps labarynith.

Parachute - you know the kind you hold in a circle and flap up and down and run underneath. I got one in Flying Tiger and it’s brilliant fun. You could use it in the shared garden and then pack it away in a drawer til next time. It’s timeless in the sense that it’s just as much fun for a four year old as an 84 year old.
